Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
- Hans Christian Andersen
Situated on the spectacular Turkish Riviera, Yalikavak lies on the northwestern tip of the Bodrum peninsula. Located 18 kilometers from Bodrum center, Yalikavak in the past was a sleepy fishing town. Over the past few years, Yalikavak has became the most luxurious destination on the Turquoise Coast.
Yalikavak now boasts the Yalikavak Marina, a state-of-the-art mega yacht marina with over 100 chic restaurants and shops. The now bustling town of Yalikavak also has a lively Tuesday farmers market rivaling those of Provence. Yalikavak has managed to retain its original charm, offering the perfect medley of traditional Aegean culture with Turkish luxury at its finest all sprawled out along beautiful beaches and a mesmerizing sea.
For a piece of history visitors head to Sandima, a 1500-year-old abandoned Greek village, for which a conservation & restoration project is underway. A portion of the 150 stone ruins will be repurposed into artisan shops and guest suites, transforming the deserted village into a premium tourist destination.
Yalibahce overlooks Yalikavak Bay and is located on the road to the historic Sandima Village. The estates are a 6 minute drive from Yalikavak center as well as the Palmarina.
